At Tilt – Improv Based Learning we obviously value your privacy.

We aren’t lawyers though, so let us first try to explain in human language what our intentions are with regards to the limited information we collect about you. Below this section, you can find a more formal version if you are into that…

So: don’t worry, we barely collect any information about you when you are on the site. In case you choose to use the contact form, we obviously need to store the info you leave behind there so we can get back to you. That is also the only way we will use that data: to be able to contact you.

Despite IT studies in a far past, we’re also not professional website builders. The website is built on the Wix platform. Wix ensures that the data you leave behind is stored securely.

Wix is very convenient to get to a decent looking site relatively fast, but also a bit of a “black box” when it comes to cookies. When you enter the site, there will for sure be some cookies stored on your laptop related to the correct functioning of the site. There are no cookies put there deliberately for any malicious purpose. At the moment, Wix does not offer functionality to select which cookies you as a visitor like and which you don’t. So it’s basically “all or nothing” when you choose to visit the site.

Lastly, Wix does some tracking on the usage of the website. It thereby collects e.g. where the connection is coming from, which operating system is used, which pages are being visited for how long,… None of this is directly linked to you as a person and is purely used to understand how we can further optimize the website. At the moment the website is optimized for PCs with Firefox or Chrome, but if we see that most people use Edge on a phone, we might need to tweak some things here and there…

And now for the more formal part, which will also rechew some of the things said above. It is based on examples provided by Wix and looks pretty fit for purpose. If you however see something in there that you disagree with or that is not compliant with the most recent legislation, please let us know at info@tiltlearning.com so we can adjust asap.
